Industries
Film
By choreographing intimate scenes in film, intimacy coordinators contribute to a more realistic and impactful portrayal of intimacy on screen, while prioritizing the well-being of the actors involved and production.
TV Series
Intimacy coordinators are becoming increasingly important in television, safeguarding actors and production during intimate scenes and ensuring these moments serve the narrative without compromising personal boundaries or safety.
Stage Production
For stage productions, intimacy coordinators act as movement directors for intimate scenes. They work closely with directors and performers, to create believable and impactful choreography that serves the narrative.
Expert Movement Direction
Pre Production
We meet with directors, producers, and casting teams to understand the vision and ensure intimacy is portrayed authentically. Our choreographic support helps refine scenes, while we work with actors on boundaries and comfort levels. Finally, we create detailed risk assessments to guarantee a safe and respectful environment for everyone involved.
On Set
On set, ICU ensures a seamless and safe experience. We coordinate safety protocols, meticulously execute scene choreography, and act as fierce advocates for both cast and crew. This means clear communication, addressing any concerns, and fostering a respectful environment where everyone feels empowered to deliver their best work.
